Virtual Rider (modified Guestbook) - Mileage is "as the crow flies" from one waypoint to another

 

I thought it might be fun to create a "Virtual Rider" that travels the world via the Internet.  Add your entry to the database and see the trip data change immediately.  You can get the latitude & longitude of your location by visiting www.gpsvisualizer.com/geocode and entering your "City" & "State."  Use the numerical values that are generated.  For example, Clayton, NC is latitude 35.650365 & longitude is -78.456354.  To view a Google map of participant's locations, link to Rider Map.
